Platform Newsletter - June 2024

Published June 06, 2024

June is here, and with it, the midpoint of the year! I’m particularly excited about the start of summer and the chance to connect with you all in person again. Recently, I had an incredible time at CodeMotion in Madrid, where I was inspired by the community’s energy and innovative spirit.

This month, we’re celebrating Pride Month, a time to honor and support the LGBTQ+ community. While our newsletter focuses on the latest in the Slack platform, I wanted to take a moment to reflect on how technology has the potential to foster connection and support, especially within diverse communities.

For example, I’ve seen firsthand how apps and platforms can provide safe spaces for self-expression and connect individuals with supportive resources. It’s a reminder of the positive impact we can make when we use technology to bring people together and create inclusive environments.

I hope you find this edition both informative and inspiring. Let’s continue to celebrate the power of technology to build a more inclusive world.

Happy June and Happy Pride Month! 🌈
